Wheel Alignments
Computerised four-wheel alignment with printed before and after.
A car that pulls, sits off-centre at the wheel, or wears the inside edge of a tire is telling you the alignment is out. Left alone, it quietly destroys a set of tires — often within a few thousand miles.
We set camber, caster and toe to the manufacturer specification on a computerised alignment rack, and you get a printout showing where the car was before and where it ended up.
We check the suspension and steering components first. Aligning a car with a worn tie rod end or ball joint is wasted money, and we will say so before doing the work rather than after.
Signs to watch for
- The car drifts or pulls when you relax your grip on a level road
- Steering wheel is off-centre when driving straight
- Inside or outside tread edge wearing faster than the rest
- Steering that feels vague or wanders at highway speed
- You hit a serious pothole or kerb recently
When to have it done
- With every set of new tires — always worth it to protect the investment
- After hitting a large pothole or kerb
- After any suspension or steering work
- Once a year as a check, or any time the car starts pulling
What K&K does
- Inspect steering and suspension components before touching the alignment
- Four-wheel computerised alignment on the rack
- Camber, caster and toe set to factory specification
- Printed before-and-after readings you keep
- Road test to confirm the wheel sits straight
